When college student Himawari Natsuno turns 20, she looks forward to finally enjoying alcohol — but to her disappointment, none of it suits her taste. That is, until a senior recommends a wine that she surprisingly finds delicious, blurting out the bizarre comment: "It feels like holding a pet cat." Mistaking her for a wine connoisseur, the senior later offers her a wine pairing based on her unusual description. When Himawari tries it, a nostalgic scene — complete with her beloved pet cat — suddenly unfolds before her eyes…
