Moeko Harumiya, a first-year high school student, lives with her relatives near the Shimogamo Shrine in Kyoto. She leads an ordinary life—except for her deep admiration for her childhood friend, Riryo Kamo, a handsome young man who once saved her when they were little. Now a university student, Riryo is revered by Moeko as a “living deity,” and she spends her peaceful days devotedly “fangirling” over him. However, her everyday life occasionally takes a strange turn when mysterious beings known as “freeloading gods” begin appearing around her…!?
